BANELE
Each pair of letters (in BA-NE-LE) represents the three peaks of Mount Kenya as illustrated in our Logo and the region for our coffee source.
Mount Kenya is the highest mountain in Kenya and second highest in Africa. The three peaks, Batian(Ba), Nelion(Ne) and Lenana (Le) symbolizes our desire to soar above all in providing the best quality products to our customers and in return the best support to our farming community.
An inspiration and desire equally shared by our 3 founding members and thus the birth of BANELE
An All Natural Experience Backed by Equitable Trading Practices
Partnering and sourcing from farmers who carefully and organically handpick their products.
Equitable trading practices embodies Banele’s core business model in improving lives at the bottom of the pyramid (BOP). This we intend to achieve by buying green beans directly from farmers in the regions of Mt. Kenya and channeling back a bonus towards educational and wildlife conservation initiatives based on the final sales of finished products. Banele will be the link for these farmers and their communities in capturing higher value associated with processing activities
A sign of dedication and commitment we extremely cherish.
The goal of sustainable agricultural practices and conservation means Mt Kenya coffee farmers will meet their present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Coffee and nature conservation
By supporting equitable development through our giving back to the community model, Banele is endeavoring to protect a rich ecosystem which is vital for the long-term viability of coffee farming.
Banele’s sustainability goal is anchored in the premise that " if people benefit from land, wildlife and other natural resources, then they will certainly take care of these resources."
We donate 15% of our revenue to this cause.
Be Inspired while you take a sip
Who could have ever thought this delicate fruit could survive in regions with high altitudes.
Altitudes reaching about 17,000 feet.
Ultimately, we want you to be inspired by the abundant goodness and awe coffee keeps giving to our beautiful world.
